LOVE IS GRAND

Dearest Deborah,

Ain’t love the grandest thing of all? It tickles are limbs and makes are hands clammy and hot. Some time’s we shiver just because. Other times were feel a chill cause everything is just that great. Remember the Chagall and the innocence of its portraits and dreams.

Love is just one great dream after all. And all night, and all day, and all of the time, I dream of you.

Love forever and always, Michael

Hey, Gorgeous

Dearest Deborah,

How great to wake with you in the morning, even though the sky is gray and rain is in the air. I walked to the train and the wind caught my breath, the clouds gathered thicker, and everywhere I saw reminders of you--in the store windows (a smudge of a kiss on my face), the way my pants reflected in the puddles (you washed them just right), the fish in the store window (do you remember your passion for this when you were pregnant?), the perfume of a passerby (the scent you wore years ago).

On the train I read and thought and looked out of the window and thought of you, how beautiful you are, how wonderful, how lucky I am.

Love forever and always, Michael

A LOVE LETTER FOR YOUR JOURNEY

Dearest Deborah,

I hope you are safe driving down south today. I hope the weather is nice and the car does everything it's supposed to do. I hope you feel the great love I feel when I think of you.

How much do I love you? Even though you will be gone for only a few days, I miss you so much. I want you back right now. I'm not sure I can wait until Saturday to see you. That's too many hours away.

I'm thinking of you.

Love forever and always, Michael.

A LOVE LETTER TO MY WIFE JUST BECAUSE

Dearest Deborah,

Thje sun is shining, the sky is crystal blue, there is just enough bite in the air to make the weather interesting, and then there is you--soft and beautiful, smart and wonderful, lovely and gorgeous-ful.

Just wanted to let you know I'm thinking of you right now, this very second, and I love you all that much more.

Love forever and always, Michael
